Streetart meets Wildlife
In his works from drawings and paintings to sculptures Björn Holzweg (Hamburg) shows woodland animals as powerful and dynamic hunters, freedom fighters and revolutionists. By combining realistic and precise representation of wildlife with geometrical forms he connects the two spheres of the woods and the society, and reminds the viewer about the current fate of those animals shown.
Now he’s bringing his artwork to Los Angeles, where he’s going to paint two murals during the Waterweek Social Arts Festival – one of them at the backside of the VIRGIL.
