In many cities we witness a similar process: housing spaces vanish and get replaced by commercial areas. Once everyone has left the office, the city centers become a gap. Suddenly they seem desolate, depopulated. A WALL IS A SCREEN reclaims those empty spaces by projecting short films and video installations onto the walls of the urban centers, leading the audience through a street turned cinema – filling the gap with life. A Wall is not just a wall, but an opportunity to create a symbiosis between film and facade, resulting in surprisingly new perspectives.
