Obscurabus left Amsterdam on Sunday 8th, October at 1pm. It was one day after three days of intensive storms in the Netherlands with gust winds and heavy rain. Waiting through the storm was worth it and on the day of our take-off, the weather was superb: gentle winds and calm waters. We crossed the IJ and Houthaven and sailed south through Amsterdam city on Westerkanaal, crossing small lakes and the suburban landscape. After six hours of pleasant cruising, we arrived at a little calming town called Woubrugge around 7pm, where we stayed over night.
